Guest Teacher for 4-Day Workshop: Nicole Egeland
Ms Egeland is a graduate of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School Professional Division’s Teacher Training Program and currently holds her Associate Diploma qualifications through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, Cecchetti Faculty. Currently she is working towards her ADAPT Jazz certification. Her choreography has received honorable mention in the RWB School’s First Steps Choreographic Competition and was taken on tour with the Professional Division’s Concert Hour Ballet in 2003.
Ms Egeland spent the 2005/2006 season working in children’s theatre, performing across Canada and in the United States with The Big Comfy Couch, Caillou and Franklin the Turtle. As a student in British Columbia, she was part of Dancestreams, Vancouver Island’s Youth Professional Dance Company, where she worked with award winning choreographers.
Ms Egeland brings ten years of teaching experience from various schools in Winnipeg, Vancouver and the Toronto area. Along with teaching ballet, she also teaches jazz, modern and creative movement to students of all ages.

Nutcracker Auditions
Boys: 5-12 yrs Men: 13 yrs - Adult
Nutcracker and Holiday Show Auditions for the following parts: the cousins, teenage cousins, butler, Godfather Drosselmeyer, uncles, Fritz, Snow Prince, Trepak (Russian Cossack) and the Nutcracker. (includes pas de deux and partnering techniques) Some Mens parts (18 yrs +) are salaried. 3 weeks + of training and rehearsals.
Girls: Kindergarten-teens Women: Teen-Adult
Level II & up girls (kindergarten-teens) and women (teens-adults) Nutcracker and Holiday Show Auditions including parts for: Clara, Aunts, Cousins, the Maid, Grandma, Snowflakes, Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Princess, Candies, Soldiers, Mice, Spanish and other principal solo parts, Hip Hop Kids, Snowmen and Kids, and several others.

Ballroom, Latin, and Swing Dance Sessions
We will be offering social dance sessions over the summer and into the fall. There are 4-week Ballroom sessions on Tuesday nights at 8:45-10:00pm. There are 3-week Latin sessions on Thursday nights from 8:45-10:00pm. The dances taught are Waltz, Two-Step, Foxtrot, Swing, and several more. The next Group sessions are scheduled for June 2nd, July 14th, August 11th, and September 8th.
